Driving Directions From Greater Boston

• Follow Route 128 North to Cape Ann.
• Pass through two traffic circles (rotaries) in Gloucester, following the signs to continue on Route 128 North.
• At the first set of traffic lights, turn left onto Route 127. This will lead you into Rockport.
• Go about three miles to where Route 127 turns a sharp left at Rockport's five corners. At this point follow Route 127A to Bear Skin Neck and downtown Rockport - NOTE: do not turn left, otherwise you will continue on Route 127.
• Take your 3rd right onto School Street and follow it 2 blocks to the end.
• Take a right onto Pleasant Street.
• Take your first left onto Summer Street.
• A Summer Place in Rockport is the second driveway on the right.

Commuter Rail from Boston, MA

Rail service to Rockport is provided by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority - also known as the MBTA or "The T" - from Boston's North Station in the Fleet Center, a few blocks north of Fanueil Hall. Trains depart on a regular daily schedule Monday through Friday and on a weekend schedule Saturday, Sunday and Holidays. Rockport is served by the Rockport Line and is in Zone 8, which you will need to know when obtaining fare information. Typical travel time varies from approximately 60 minutes off-peak hour (non-rush hour) and 75 minutes during peak hour (rush hour).
